본 대학원에는 석사과정, 박사과정, 석·박사통합과정 및 학연산협동과정을 둡니다. 석사·석박사통합과정은 동일계열 학사학위 취득자, 박사과정은 동일계열 석사학위 취득자가 지원함을 원칙으로 합니다.The Graduate School offers a Master’s program, a Doctoral program, an Integrated Master’s–Doctoral program, and an Industry–Academia–Research Cooperative program. As a rule, applicants to the Master’s and Integrated Master’s–Doctoral programs must hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and applicants to the Doctoral program must hold a master’s degree in a related field.

• 재학연한은 수업연한의 2배이며(편입학자는 잔여 수업연한의 2배), 휴학기간은 재학연한에 산입하지 않습니다.The maximum period of enrollment is 2 times the standard period of study (for transfer students, 2 times the remaining standard period); periods of leave of absence are not counted toward the maximum period of enrollment.
• 석사과정은 공통선택·전공선택 교과목을 24학점 이상 이수하며, 과목 선택 시 지도교수의 승인을 받습니다. 박사과정은 이수구분 제한은 없으나 매 학기 지도교수의 승인을 거쳐 수강 과목을 확정합니다.Master’s students must complete at least 24 credits in common-elective and major-elective courses, with course selections approved by the academic advisor. The Doctoral program has no requirement category restrictions, but enrolled courses are finalized each semester with the academic advisor’s approval.
• 선수과목 지정자는 2차 학기 내 이수를 원칙으로 하며, 선수과목 학점은 수료학점에 산입하지 않습니다.Students assigned prerequisite courses must, as a rule, complete them within the second semester; prerequisite-course credits are not counted toward the credits required for completion.
• 소속 전공 이외 교과목의 이수학점은 수료학점의 2분의 1 이내에서 인정할 수 있습니다.Credits earned in courses outside one’s major may be recognized up to one-half of the credits required for completion.

수강신청 및 학점이수Course Registration and Credit Completion

• 수강신청은 종합정보시스템을 통해 본인이 직접 신청하며, 절차를 거치지 않고 임의 수강한 교과목의 성적과 동일 교과목 중복 수강 학점은 인정하지 않습니다.Course registration must be completed by the student in person through the Integrated Information System; grades for courses taken arbitrarily without following the proper procedure and credits for duplicate enrollment in the same course are not recognized.
• 휴학생은 계절학기 수강신청을 할 수 없습니다.Students on leave of absence may not register for seasonal sessions.

휴학의 종류 및 기간Types and Periods of Leave of Absence

• 신입학·편입학·재입학자는 입학 후 첫 학기에 휴학할 수 없습니다. 다만, 입영·질병·임신·출산·육아휴학 및 기타 부득이한 사유는 예외입니다.New, transfer, and readmitted students may not take a leave of absence during their first semester after admission. Exceptions apply to military service, medical, and pregnancy/childbirth/childcare leave, and to other unavoidable circumstances.
• 복학은 휴학기간 만료 다음 학기 소정기간 내에 복학원서를 제출하고 등록금 납부·수강신청을 해야 하며, 계절학기에는 복학할 수 없습니다. 개강 후 3주 이내에 복학하지 않으면 제적됩니다.Reinstatement requires submitting an application for reinstatement, paying tuition, and registering for courses within the designated period of the semester following the expiration of the leave; reinstatement is not permitted during seasonal sessions. A student who does not reinstate within 3 weeks after the start of the semester will be dismissed.
• 전공변경은 2차 학기 개강 전후 소정기간 내에 전공변경원을 제출하여 대학원장의 허가를 받습니다.A change of major requires submitting an application for change of major within the designated period around the start of the second semester and obtaining the approval of the Dean of the Graduate School.

석·박사통합과정 진급Advancement in the Integrated Master’s–Doctoral Program

석박사통합과정에 입학하여 4학기 이상 등록하고 석사과정 수료 후 박사과정으로 진급하려면, 석사과정 수료학점(24학점) 이상 취득 & 성적평점 평균 3.5 이상이어야 하며, 자격시험(외국어시험 및 종합시험)에 각 70점 이상으로 합격해야 합니다.To advance to the Doctoral program after completing the Master’s stage, a student in the Integrated Master’s–Doctoral program who has been enrolled for at least 4 semesters must have earned at least the Master’s credits required for completion (24 credits) & have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, and must pass the qualifying examinations (the Foreign Language Examination and the Comprehensive Examination) with a score of 70 or higher in each.

논문제출 자격시험Qualifying Examination for Thesis Submission

학위청구논문을 제출하려면 외국어시험과 종합시험에 모두 합격해야 합니다.To submit a degree thesis, a student must pass both the Foreign Language Examination and the Comprehensive Examination.

외국어시험 (영어)Foreign Language Examination (English)

외국어시험 과목은 영어이며, 다음 외부 공인시험으로 대체합니다. 외국인 학생은 모국어를 외국어로 택할 수 없으며, 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 3급 이상으로 응시합니다. 공인어학시험 성적은 응시일 기준 2년 이내만 인정됩니다.The subject of the Foreign Language Examination is English, which may be satisfied by the following authorized external tests. International students may not select their native language as the foreign language and instead take the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) at Level 3 or higher. Authorized language test scores are recognized only if obtained within 2 years of the test date.

종합시험Comprehensive Examination

• 종합시험에 불합격한 자는 재응시할 수 있습니다.A student who fails the Comprehensive Examination may retake it.
• 응시 희망자는 기한 내에 소정의 응시료와 함께 응시원서를 교학팀에 제출합니다.Prospective examinees must submit an application together with the prescribed examination fee to the Academic Affairs Team within the deadline.

학위논문Degree Thesis

지도교수는 1학기 말까지 학과 교수회의를 거쳐 배정되며, 필요한 경우 공동지도교수를 둘 수 있습니다. 지도교수의 지도 아래 학위청구논문계획서를 작성하고, 아래 절차에 따라 심사를 받습니다.An academic advisor is assigned by the end of the 1st semester through a departmental faculty meeting, and a co-advisor may be appointed where necessary. Under the advisor’s guidance, the student prepares a thesis proposal and undergoes review in accordance with the procedures below.

• 논문제출 자격: 수료(예정)자로서 소정 학점(선수과목 포함)을 취득하고 평균성적 B 이상이며, 외국어시험·종합시험에 합격하고 논문지도 평가(박사는 예비심사)를 통과해야 합니다.Eligibility for thesis submission: A completed (or prospective completion) student must have earned the prescribed credits (including prerequisite courses), have an average grade of B or higher, have passed the Foreign Language and Comprehensive Examinations, and have passed the thesis guidance evaluation (for the Doctoral program, the preliminary review).
• 박사과정은 [별표 2]에서 인정하는 우수 학술논문을 1편 이상 주저자로 게재하였거나 게재 예정이어야 논문을 제출할 수 있습니다.A Doctoral student may submit a dissertation only after having published, or having been accepted to publish, at least 1 recognized high-quality publication under [Appendix 2] as the lead author.
• 학위청구논문은 한국어 또는 영어로 작성함을 원칙으로 하며, 필요시 대학원장의 사전 승인을 받아 타 언어로 작성할 수 있습니다.As a rule, a degree thesis must be written in Korean or English; if necessary, it may be written in another language with the prior approval of the Dean of the Graduate School.
• 박사학위를 받은 자는 수여일로부터 1년 이내에 학위논문을 공표하여야 합니다.A person who has received a doctoral degree must publish their dissertation within 1 year of the date of conferral.

석사 학위논문 대체Substitution for the Master’s Thesis

석사과정 학생은 일정 요건을 갖춘 경우 학위논문을 우수 학술논문 게재 실적으로 대체할 수 있습니다. 수료(예정)자로서 평점평균 B 이상이고 외국어·종합시험에 합격하며 1학기 이상 지도평가를 통과한 자가 신청할 수 있으며, [별표 2]의 우수 학술논문을 2편 이상 게재(이 중 1편 이상은 본인이 제1저자)해야 합니다. 다만, 동일 실적으로 수업연한 단축을 승인받은 자는 신청할 수 없습니다.A Master’s student who meets certain requirements may substitute recognized high-quality publications for the thesis. A completed (or prospective completion) student with a grade point average of B or higher who has passed the Foreign Language and Comprehensive Examinations and has passed the guidance evaluation over at least 1 semester may apply, and must have published at least 2 recognized high-quality publications under [Appendix 2] (of which at least 1 must have the student as first author). However, a student who has been approved for a reduction of the standard period of study based on the same achievements may not apply.

수료 및 학위수여Completion and Degree Conferral

• 수료: 수업연한 이상 등록하고 과정별 수료학점(석사 24 · 박사 36 · 석박사통합 54학점 이상)을 취득한 자에 대해 대학원운영위원회 심의와 총장 승인을 거쳐 각 학기말에 수료를 확정합니다.Completion: For a student who has registered for at least the standard period of study and earned the credits required for completion of each program (Master’s 24 · Doctoral 36 · Integrated Master’s–Doctoral 54 credits or more), completion is confirmed at the end of each semester following deliberation by the Graduate School Steering Committee and the approval of the President.
• 학위수여 요건: ① 각 과정 수료(예정)자 ② 외국어시험·종합시험 합격 ③ 학위청구논문을 제출하여 논문심사와 구술시험에 합격 ④ 학위논문 인준. (논문대체자는 ①②와 우수 학술논문 게재 요건 충족)Requirements for degree conferral: (1) be a completed (or prospective completion) student of each program; (2) pass the Foreign Language and Comprehensive Examinations; (3) submit a degree thesis and pass the thesis review and oral examination; (4) obtain approval of the thesis. (Students using the thesis-substitution option must meet (1) and (2) and the requirement for recognized high-quality publications.)
• 학위수여 시기는 매 학기말이며, 석박사통합과정을 중도 포기한 자가 요건을 충족하면 석사학위를 수여할 수 있습니다.Degrees are conferred at the end of each semester, and a Master’s degree may be conferred on a student who withdraws partway through the Integrated Master’s–Doctoral program if the requirements are met.
